On modern racing and performance yachts, electronic systems are becoming increasingly advanced. For this reason, the owner of the Maxi 100 "V" chose a solution where the majority of the boat's electronics and network equipment were consolidated into one central technical cabinet.
The goal was simple: to create a clear, service-friendly, and future-proof installation where access to the systems is quick and efficient. By centralizing network switches, processors, communication equipment, and power distribution, troubleshooting, maintenance, and future upgrades become significantly easier.
The image shows the finished technical cabinet, where all components are mounted with a focus on structure, cable management, and accessibility. Every connection is labeled and documented, which reduces time during service work and ensures a more reliable installation.
The project was carried out under particular time pressure. From project start to delivery, only 10 days were available, which required careful planning, effective coordination, and many working hours to meet the deadline before the boat's next schedule.
The installation was completed in collaboration with Pixel sur Mer, where experience from international racing and offshore projects contributed to efficient execution and a professional end result.
The result is a modern and professional electronic installation that provides the crew with a robust foundation for navigation, communication, and performance optimization – while also allowing future expansions to be implemented without major modifications.
